Your questions, answered

When and where?

Sat, 31 October, 10 pm – 4 am. Wartesaal am Dom, Johannisstraße 11, 50668 Köln – the historic waiting hall inside Cologne Central Station, right next to the cathedral. Trains and night transport are on the doorstep: the KVB trams run all night at weekends. Coming from out of town? How old do I need to be?

18+. Bring your original ID card or passport to the door – a photo of it won’t do.

How do I get my ticket?

You buy through ticket.io and your ticket lands on your phone. That’s all you need at the door – plus your ID.

What’s the music like?

House to arrive – sometimes Afro house, sometimes more classic. Then it builds into more and more of a party: hits and sing-along songs, some 2000s too. Plus live moments like sax and vocals – feel-good party music that carries the night.

What should I wear?

Everyone comes in costume – that's what makes the night so special. Go all out on the details or keep it to a little twist: what matters is that you're celebrating with us. Think glam with a wink rather than full horror: a black base that suits you, one strong detail and make-up with an idea is plenty – and as a pair or a group, it looks even better in every photo. Solo, as a pair or with your crew?

All good. Most people come in twos or with their crew, and if you come on your own, you’ll find your people fast. How an event unfolds is in our guide Your first Golden Flame (in German).

Who gets in?

Everyone who brings good vibes and wants to party is welcome. Entry is 18+.

What’s the latest I can arrive?

With a ticket you can come in any time, from start to finish – whenever suits you.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

We’ve never had door sales – so far, every one of our events has sold out in advance. So it’s best to get your ticket ahead of time.

Can’t make it after all?

The safest way is to resell your ticket on TicketSwap – that way the next person is guaranteed a valid ticket. Passing it on to a friend is fine too, of course.

Cloakroom and payment?

Yes, there’s a cloakroom. Payment is cashless – card or phone. No need to bring cash.

Coming with your crew, for a birthday or a hen party?
